Before using Ackee from any browser, the following settings are important:

  • You must have cookies enabled - Cookies are required to keep you logged in to Ackee between browser requests.
  • You must have JavaScript enabled - JavaScript is required in various areas of Ackee, and this must be enabled in your web browser to make the service function properly.

Why upgrade your browser?

  • Newer browsers have better support for Web Standards, which means that more websites will work properly, and look better, while you are browsing the web. You'll have a much happier internet experience with the latest version of your favorite browser.
  • Not only this, but using older browsers can often be dangerous to the security of your computer. Vulnerabilities are constantly found in older browsing platforms that could allow malicious websites to run programs on your machine.

Upgrading your browser is a good idea, even if you don't choose to use Ackee. We wholeheartedly recommend Firefox for its adherence to web standards, and its recognition as a stable and secure web browser.

How do I join the family?
Click Join in the navigation bar shown above, and complete the form that appears. You will be sent an activation email that you must respond to before your name will appear on Ackee.
How do I Sign In?
Click Sign In in the navigation bar shown above, and follow the instructions. If you have forgetten your password you can request that it be reset by clicking the corresponding link on the Sign In page.
I am having difficulty Signing In?
There are three common reasons:
  1. Your cookies are disabled.
  2. JavaScript is disabled on your browser.
  3. Your username or password is not found in our database.
